Information For Advisor
Once the student has completed a petition, please meet with your advisee and review the nature of their petition. Some student requests do not need to be petitioned but may be handled within a department or college. If you have a question about the appropriateness of a petition, please contact the committee chair.
If the petition is to be sent to the University Admissions and Credits committee, please forward the student's petition, supporting documentation and transcripts to your college´s representation on this committee ( Committee Membership page).
This member will bring the material to the next Admissions and Credits meeting. You may choose to attend the meeting with the student if you feel the circumstances warrant your presence.
