December 16, 2007 at 3:32 pm The semester has finally ended and now its time to get ready for the Spring.  Since l earned terrific grades i will now have an even better Christmas break.  It’s definitely possible to be a scholar and still have fun in college.  Now that the spring semester is approaching, it’s the most exciting time of the year.  Basketball games and many other activities like Springfest which is coordinated by the Student Activities Board.  I will have a tight schedule with my classes and extra-curricular activities.  I’m excited to begin classes in January because I am taking more Public Relations courses which will give me more hands-on experience in my field of study.

October 17, 2007 at 4:45 pm This semester is passing by very quickly! It’s already mid-terms and it seems like classes just started.  You know the old saying though “time flies by when you’re having fun!”  That’s exactly what I’m doing here at A-State.  I have enjoyed all the excitement from homecoming, including our victory football game.  My sorority also hosted the Annual Alpha Kappa Alpha Homecoming Greek Show. It had a great outcome because we dedicated so much hard work and time to it.  Classes are still going great and I love every aspect of them because I am learning so much.  I had the opportunity to host this year’s Senior Preview Day that is held by the Office of Admissions and I had a blast meeting so many different students and knowing that they were interested in such a great university.  I am still expanding my horizon everyday with the help of the students, faculty, and staff here at ASU!

September 5, 2007 at 3:32 pm  I am really excited that I get to share my experience here at ASU with you!  I am Alex Ingram, a junior from Little Rock, Arkansas majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology (I know it’s a weird combination, but that’s just how it worked out).

I am so excited this week about the ASU vs. Memphis game!  Just the thought of it being the first home game with all the tailgating is awesome!  I love ASU with all my heart because of the many experiences I have here in Jonesboro. Those experiences are from different extra-curricular activities I am involved in and having one of the best jobs on campus in the office of Admissions. In this office I have the chance to meet the future students of my university.

My classes are great this semester because I have some of the best professors at ASU.  I really enjoy my news writing class because I have learned so much already about reporting the news and publishing stories.  This is my third year here at ASU and this university has opened up more windows of opportunities than I ever expected and I can’t wait to see where else this journey will take me!
