October 17, 2007 at 4:13 pm It’s finally starting to feel like fall outside! I love walking around campus in this cooler weather.

I can’t believe that there are only seven weeks left in this semester! Thanksgiving break is just one month away, and the end of the semester will be here before we know it. My classes and work have been keeping me so busy that time is just flying by.

I have really liked all of my classes so far this semester. Some of them have been challenging, but I have learned so much. I have especially enjoyed the Communication Disorders classes that I am taking this semester!

This past weekend was ASU’s Homecoming football game. I had a blast and was very excited that we won! Last Thursday, I attended the annual Homecoming Variety Show at the BCM, and all of the acts were wonderful. Homecoming Week provides students with so many fun activities.

September 6, 2007 at 10:22 am  Hi! My name is Amy McKinney. This is my junior year at ASU, and I am majoring in Communication Disorders. My family and I have lived in Jonesboro for eleven years, and I am now enjoying the convenience of going to ASU.

Attending ASU has been one of the greatest experiences of my life so far, which makes it hard to believe that my first two years are already over. During my freshman year, I got involved in an organization called the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). Through the opportunities I have had there, I have made many new friends and have learned how to be a more effective and efficient leader. My academic advisor, coursework, and professors have all been very helpful in preparing me for my future career.

The first two weeks of this semester have been very busy but exciting! Between classes and all of the different activities on campus, there has not been a dull moment. I am looking forward to this weekend because they are having the Back to School Retreat at the BCM, and our first home football game is Saturday night. Go State!
